Dr. Heather Owen received her veterinary training from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2001. She completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Loveland, Colorado. Heather practiced as an emergency and critical care doctor until January 2005 where she entered general practice. She received her veterinary acupuncture certification in 2006 and moved back to Oklahoma in 2007. Heather completed her canine rehabilitation and physical therapy training from the University of Tennessee in the spring of 2010. Heather completed her veterinary food therapy certification from the Chi Institute in June of 2010. Her family includes a loving husband, Dustin, 3 beautiful daughters Madison, Keira, & Isabella as well as 5 furry children: Ruby, Chloe, sierra, Simba, & Mushu.
Kenneth Daubney is the Office Coordinator who can be seen helping in all areas of the practice. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. His furry family includes Riser, Cash, and a not so furry tortoise named Wallie.
Katie Schepers is a Veterinary Assistant. She will be graduating in May 2012 from the Veterinary Technology Program at Tulsa Community College. Katie enjoys having the opportunity to work with animals and watch their health improve through the services offered at Veterinary Wellness Center. Her furry family includes Sam, Boo, & Charlie.
